Our weigh station has IGFA certified Chatillion scales* and we can officially weigh any potential records landed off Loreto. We can also weigh fish up to 500 pounds. Because of the potential for world record game fish catches off Loreto and the philosophy of the I.G.F.A. mirroring our own, we have decided to offer this service and bring the presence of the organization here.
*only scales to 100 pounds can be certified by IGFA

If you have plans to persue a world record fish off Loreto, feel free to pay us a visit and review the official angling rules, check existing up to date records, and get record application forms. Weigh in's of potential records will take place on one of our certified scales. Photographs and measurements of the fish and other details will also be recorded for the application submission. This service is provided free of charge. We hope to help stimulate tourism to Loreto as a world class sport fishing destination, by being able to provide this service to record seekers.
