Full day charters depart first thing in the morning and keep you out until mid afternoon. Distance and time are considered in the pricing. We will take you to the area that will produce the most of your target species possible while considering your level of skill, fishing method of choice and weather conditions. In the winter months, expect to hunt for yellowtail and roosterfish as well as scores of inshore species. We’ll most likely take you off the reefs and seamounts to our north, or off the islands and the deep holes and trenches to our south. In the summer we’ll go offshore and put you onto the dorado, sailfish and marlin.

Rates are subject to change for walk-in reservations.  Confirmed, deposit paid and pre-paid reservations are exempt from price changes.

Half-Day fishing Excursion: $175.00* in Super Panga: for departures from the Loreto marina only, *not including license and bait

one morning off Isla Coronado

one morning off Isla Coronado

There are many fly and light tackle conventional anglers that spend the winter in Loreto, or travel here with friends or family. Most of these anglers are accustomed to fishing in freshwater situations and do not visit this area during our peak season (late May through August). Although this is our off-season (Sept through early May), there are plenty of fish to be taken on the flyrod and on light-tackle conventional outfits.

The most prominent weather phenomenon of our winter season (Nov-Apr) are the intermittent winds. These winds make it very frustrating for fly fishers who pay for a whole day, venture out a long distance, then end up getting blown out and unable to fish. Unfortunately, this is often the scenario for those that arrange an off-season trip with an outfitter who does not understand fly fishing.

During winter, even during windy periods, most days will offer a few productive hours in the morning before the winds start to blow. This is why we offer short inshore trips for fly fishing and light tackle. There is no reason for a light tackle angler to motor out very far to find fish in our area. These trips are both economical and enjoyable

We offer you a choice of several locations to fish and they are priced accordingly. The trips are intended for catch and release angling. An additional fee will apply for those who wish to keep their catch.

Fishing and Snorkeling at Coronado Island with Lunch: $250.00 for two persons

Ensenada los Metates, Coronado Island

Ensenada los Metates, Coronado Island

This is the excursion for those who want to fish and sight see underwater. Its ideal for couples where the angler can get his fix for a few hours and the rest of the day can be spent snorkeling, relaxing and pic-nicking on a white sand beach. We start off at a civilized hour in time to net a light load of fresh sardinas, then we fish along the shoreline from town to Isla Coronado or across the channel at the bajo. Snorkeling equipment, marine park tickets, fishing licenses, fishing equipment, lunches and drinking water are included.

one evening in September off Coronado

one evening in September off Coronado

EVENING AND NIGHT TRIPS (June through September only) $175.00 and up

These trips are made available as the summer season comes. We do not know how the fishing will be in the evenings and at night until we are right in the midst of the season. So these kind of trips need to be arranged here. Some years the evening fishing is excellent and some years it is not. Same goes for night time fishing. Excursions will be announced here and in the fishing reports as they become available. Typically these kinds of trips are best late into the season (late July through September) because that’s when water conditions are most favorable for these trips.  Amount charged will depend on distance and time fished.

ALL INCLUSIVE FULL DAY TRIPS, $360.00 for two persons

All inclusive is also known as the “no brainer” because everything’s included. Fishing permits and park tickets, fishing gear, lunches, beverages, live bait, filleting, packing, freezing and delivery prior to departure.

The beginning and end of trip is in downtown Loreto, but departure and drop off points can be flexible at additional charge. Boat upgrade available at additional charge. Additional persons are subject to additional fees.
